Murv Thornton, Poetry Editor
Murvel Thornton was the Featured Author for Notes Magazine (issue #2) and volunteered as a guest editor for issue 3. We have since bribed him into staying on as a poetry editor.
He is currently studying Sustainable Life Design and Application at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He plays often with mud and sand, and has been known to build habitable structures from paper and straw, using only a hammer and saw.
A Montana native, Thornton has traveled the Pacific Northwest and California extensively, and knows the location of a number of secluded hot-springs in New Mexico. Being partial to organic farming, Thornton specializes in growing award winning sweet-potatoes, and cayenne peppers. Having exceeded the half-century mark earlier this year, he found an old stash and is quietly training to finish a marathon in the spring.
