What Lingers

59 Poems

by Jan Thie

What Lingers is a collection of 59 poems of love, loss, joy, beauty, and life; from crisp snapshots, captured moments, to entire lifetimes suspended in time. With vivid imagery, captivating language, and breathtaking intimacy, What Lingers will be the grace note of your poetic adventures.

About the author:
He's been a barman, a d.j. in a Dutch coffee shop, a pub cook in Prague, a hospital guard and a night manager in a homeless shelter. After some traveling he now spends his time between Prague and Utrecht. He's fallen in love more often than he has had haircuts but despite all of the above Jan Thie feels he's never written a line as good as Neruda's "I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees." Life's unfair like that.
